How to Print Test Page in a Printer

Make sure your printer power cables on connected to the power and switched on. Check the cable between your computer and printer is properly connected. Also, make sure you have installed the required printer software correctly. Ok, now we will take a Printer Test Page to make sure your printer is perfectly installed and works with no problem.
To do that, double click My Computer and point to Printers (windows 98, ME & 2000) and Faxes (windows XP). In there you can see your new printer installed. Right on the New Printer icon and select Properties. In the properties dialog box under the General tab, you can see a Print Test Page button.

Just click on the button and your printer will automatically prints a page. If the printout is not coming properly, check the troubleshooting in the printers help page and make the necessary changes.
We can’t explain a specific printer, because of lots of printers available in the market like Laserjet, Inkjet, Deskjet etc. from companies like HP, Canon etc. But, with every printer you’ll get the installation CD and with that you can find the installation manual to install and troubleshooter help file, if you found any difficulties on working with your printer. If its all done, then you have perfectly installed your new printer and ready to take printouts.
