There is few option to find a word file, but if you add some useful information while saving the file for the time in the file properties then it could be more easy to find any word files. To do that, first we have to configure MS Word to openup the file properties dialog box while saving the file, click Tools-> Options-> Save. In that, checkmark Prompt for document properties and click ok. Now everytime you saves a new file the file properties dialog box will appear, then type the desired keyword and comments relative to the document that you going to prepare or already prepared. To add this keyword data to an existing word document simply choose File-> Properties. If you want more details to addon then click Custom in the Properties box and select appropriate data that you need.

How to Find a Word File in Windows
If you know the Word File name, but searching for where you saved in your harddisk. Select Start Menu-> Find-> Files or Folders, in the Named field type the file name and put the word extension, example abcd*.doc and click Find Now. Even, if you forget the filename but knows the content of the Word Document then type *.doc in the Named field and in the Containing Text field type 2-3 words that contains the data in the document and click Find Now. This will search the typed word in the Word Document content.
